The Combat Sports Academy is the latest branch of The Gracie Fighter family tree, which holds one of the richest traditions of excellence and success in the martial arts and Mixed Martial Arts community. Over the last ten years The Gracie Fighter Team has produced a continuous supply of Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts Champions.

"Gracie Fighters" have held and fought for nearly every major title within the sport of Mixed Martial Arts and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu including The UFC, EliteXC, Strikeforce, Professional Shooto Japan, Pride Fighting Championship, DREAM, King Of The Cage, Grapplers Quest, NAGA, The Pan Ams, The Mundials, The Abu Dhabi Combat Championship (ADCC) and numerous other prestigious titles.

Mixed Martial Arts superstars and Top 10 World Ranked fighters like Gilbert Melendez, Nick Diaz, David Terrell, Nate Diaz, Tyson Griffin and Jake Shields are all products of the world famous "Gracie Fighter" system.

Caio Terra

CSA’s Brazilian Jiu Jitsu program is headed up by Graciefighter Black Belt 4X Brazilian Jiu Jitsu World Champion (Gi & No Gi) Caio Terra. Caio has won every Jiu Jitsu title imaginable, from NAGA to the Mundials/Worlds to winning the Abu Dhabi (ADCC) Pro Qualifiers with a broken ankle. Caio is also the lightest competitor in history to win the Absolute Division at the World Championships. Most importantly to our students, Caio he is one of the top Jiu Jitsu instructors in the world as well and we are very lucky to have him call CSA his home.

Lana Stefanac

Lana is Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt who trains under Cesar Gracie. Lana holds an incredible record of 198-1 (Gi) & 72-4 (No-Gi). She is an ADCC Veteran & Finalist, 5X Pan American Gold Medalist & 2X World Champion and the only American (Male or Female) to ever win Gold in the Mundials/Worlds. Lana was the 2010 Grapplers Quest Fighter of the Year and was voted into the BlackBelt Hall of Fame in 2010. Lana also holds a perfect 6-0 Record in MMA with an impressive 4 Title Belts in 3 Weight Classes. Lana is truly a World Class Coach who brings her wealth of competitive knowledge and drive to CSA.
